God falling in love with the person
I’m still surprised that people when they have access to this higher level in themselves, they fail to recognize that the most important thing is not which level you have achieved but which type of person you are.
The difference between persons lies in the quality of the person.
Yes, there are differences in intelligence and as to what extent a person is aware, since most people are simply unconscious. But beyond that, the difference lies in the human characteristics of the person, how the person has developed in his character.
When a person is strong, sincere, reliable. When a person has integrity and his character is properly developed, even God falls in love with that person.
Until the person has not arrived at the maturity - I mention above - he/she is not ready for the spiritual path.
Why? Because these human characteristics go in two directions:
• One is towards our relationship with our human reality, with our personality.
• And the other direction is towards our relationship with our inner self.

I remember that at the beginning of my spiritual quest, my Chan teacher (Shan Jian) made me a condition of having to solve a koan to have access to the teaching, the koan was:
You wouldn't look for me
if you didn't know me already.
At first, I did not understand why this condition, and the koan did not sound sophisticated, it seemed absurd.
Since he was a man of principle, I knew that if I didn't give him an answer, there would be no teaching. I had no choice but to unravel its meaning.
After going around and around, forgetting about the koan, and losing all hope of solving it ... one of the times using my reflective intelligence I made the following reflection:
I don't know anything about enlightenment …
therefore, it is not enlightenment what I am looking for.
I have no direct knowledge of God …
therefore it is not God what I am looking for.
The only thing I know is my sense of I …
Fuck !!! I am looking for myself …
and a flash of laughter hit me.
But for this understanding not to remain a mere intellectual decoration, I spent years and years trying to understand in depth the nature of consciousness. On this trip I met several living teachers: Osho, Mikaire, and a few others.

Awakening our individuality.
We must avoid the mistake of making things irrationally simple, because they are not. Our sense of self is multidimensional.
Why this emphasis on awakening our individuality? Because it prevents us from falling into the error of merging with the Source by bypassing our individuality (which is possible). If that happens, the individuality will be unable to properly relate to the Source and to the personal aspect of our soul.
Sometimes between the realization and the communication of that realization, there is a cognitive dissonance. For example, the phrase "I am the way, the truth and the life" is attributed to Jesus the Christ.
Christians understand that Jesus is the way, the truth, and life itself. That means, that in order to attain eternal life, they must receive Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.
What this tells us is that our understanding of all philosophical, psychological, or spiritual concepts is relative to the level of our evolution (this also includes the teacher and the way he expresses himself).
Nisargadatta Maharaj said:
„My guru told me: You alone are, deny existence to everything except your self."
If we exist in a poor relationship with our identity and do not inquire and question everything, if we always remain in the comfort zone and in what is spiritually correct, we will not develop the capacity to realize ourselves and we will not be able to consciously embody our own subjectivity.
All this leads us to declare that:
"The sense of I (me) is the way, the truth and the life"
Here is a quote in which Papaji asked Ramana Maharshi:
• ‘Have you seen God? And if you have, can you enable me to see him?’
• ‘No,’ he answered. ‘I cannot show you God or enable you to see God because God is not an object that can be seen. God is the subject. He is the seer (He is the knower)’. He also added, ‘You alone are God’.
Therefore, of the three functions of consciousness -attention, intelligence and subject- the subject is the knower and consequently, consciousness depends on him because the subject is God. The subject is the creator and is at the same time the created. The dance does not exist, it is me in movement. Because the subject is, everything is.
This enables us to take full responsibility for everything that arises from the subconscious since thoughts (or mind) are not seen as a problem but as a movement of light in our own intelligence.
We do not refer to thought as something alien to us but as me. I am the thought. This attitude of love towards the subconscious transforms it into creative and universal intelligence. Shiva recognizing his beloved Shakti.
To get here, all abiding places of the sense of me (consciousness, heart and being) must be already awake. That is to say, the knower who is in turn the centre of intelligence of the soul must first illuminate his multidimensional being with his recognition.
To get here, one must have seen the limitation of teachings based on awareness, in which the sense of individuality is denied.
Denying the subjectivity of the subject and identifying it with its functionality is a classic in spirituality and even in psychology. One of the functionalities or expressions of our subjectivity is to create an image of us to interact in the world. Confusing the image with the subjectivity and endowing it with a sense of self is like believing that dance exists without me. Buddha's denial of the subjectivity did have consequences for him and for his followers, manifesting a negative view of life.
The knower (individual consciousness) must not be denied as the Buddha did, since he has a great function to fulfil, he has to illuminate the Original Source with his recognition. And in doing so, he establishes with the Original Source a relationship not of "unity in knowledge" as Master Eckhart pointed out, but a relationship in identity.
This is the quote from Meister Eckhart:
“Ordinary people imagine that they should see God
as if He were there and they were here.
That is not the case.
God and I are one in knowledge.”
This leads us to conclude that no matter how deep our spiritual achievement is, when we do not know the knower "I", we remain fundamentally asleep and unconscious and unable to realize the "I-I" or Primordial Self that Ramana was pointing to.
