Terence McKenna

June 4, 2026

It is my firm conviction that Terence McKenna stands as a figure of paramount importance in the annals of the last century. Humankind has been exceptionally fortunate to have benefitted from his profound insights and contributions.

Terence McKenna maintained close professional and personal relationships with Dr Ralph Abraham, a distinguished chaos mathematician, and Dr Rupert Sheldrake, a respected author and biologist. From 1982 until his passing, he engaged in numerous public and private debates with them. These intellectual exchanges, known as trialogues, explored a range of complex topics, and selections from these discussions were subsequently published in the acclaimed books Trialogues at the Edge of the West and The Evolutionary Mind.
